LATEST PROJECTS; July 2010
I have to admit that
our service over the last few months has not been as good as normally. Not
only have I had to spend time on other business projects but also the death
of my father back in April has rather upset the whole family. As a
consequence the time that has been available to concentrate on the Pure
Nostalgia business has been negligible. For those that were affected over
this period I do thank you for your patience and understanding.
I am now, however,
seeing a small light at the end of the tunnel and, given the pressures that
I have been under over the last few months, I am looking forward to a nice
holiday for much of this month. Orders received after 12th July
will not be processed until I return at the beginning of August. I would,
however, suggest that you continue to order as normal since everything that
we receive while we are away will be dealt with strictly in date order.
Regular visitors
will be aware that we are still trying to upgrade the web site. Obviously,
work in this respect has not happened of late but when I return after the
holiday, I am hoping that I will be able to spend more time working on the books
and comics. In the meantime, the items listed on the site are somewhat out
of date. Some may not, therefore now be available whilst, as usual, we will
always have other items that are not listed. If in doubt, just place the item
as normal and we will advise if a book/comic is sold when we process the
order.
By all means email
us if you need to do so but please do bear in mind that we will not be
answering anything until the start of August and that it may take a while
to catch up with enquiries.
Thanks so much for
all of your support in the past and I will get back to normal service just

GENERAL WELCOME SECTION
Hi, and welcome to Purenostalgia. Our web site covers all aspects of
collecting childhood memories; in particular we offer a good selection of
Children's Annuals, Comics, Magazines, Paperbacks, Jigsaws and Limited
Edition Prints. We have been trading since 1985 but only set up the
web site in 2000. We pride ourselves, in that it is regularly updated to
ensure items listed are still available for purchase.

As one of the largest
specialist dealers in our field, you can select from a large range of Annuals
(we currently have over 15,000 in stock) or comics (approx 70,000+ in
stock), purchase from our online shop or by direct link to our
auctions. Use the SEARCH if you are interested in something
particular or select the "collectibles for sale" or "auctions"
buttons on the left. Our system includes a fully secure SSL security
ordering facility at the point of purchase where you can safely leave your
credit card/maestro (switch) details. Alternatively, by all means
telephone the details through to us on 01375 407867 if you are in the UK
or 44(0) 375 407867 if you are overseas.

We accept many other
forms of payment. If you are in the UK
then you can pay by cheque or postal order (please make cheques payable to Steve
Penny and NOT Pure Nostalgia and send to the address on the "contact
us" web page). We can also accept Paypal and this is one of the
payment options that you are automatically given when placing the order. In
addition we can accept Direct Bank Transfers, Western Union
transfers etc. If you want to use these methods then please order the item
in the usual way but tick the "Invoice and payment before
delivery" payment option. Also, please email us to confirm your
interest at which point we will reserve the item pending completion of the
order. Overseas customers, please email if you prefer to pay by any other
methods other than credit card or Paypal and we will give you further
instructions.
