LATEST PROJECTS; April/May 2008
At the time of writing
these notes we are also busy trying to get ready for the Collectormania
show in Milton Keynes this coming weekend. Please remember to say hello if
you are coming along.
We have listed an extra
100+ annuals this month including a lovely collection of original Giles
annuals (not the facsimile’s) from number 1, some nice 1960’s Girls Annuals
with dust jackets and also quite a few Comic annuals. In addition, we have
also purchased a very big collection of Film magazines and annuals, which
are presently being processed so please contact us if you are looking for
something in particular. We would prefer to sell them to customers now at a
discounted price then to spend time getting them listed etc.
Walt Howarth prints are
selling fast at the moment following last months update reporting his
passing away. We have already sold out of about 8/10 of the prints this
month and are down to our last one or two in quite a few others. We suspect
that demand will be high at the Collectormania show so please contact us as
soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We did advise our customers that
prices will rise for all remaining Walt Howarth prints with effect from the
end of April but we have now decided to differ this until the end of May.
This will allow customers from Collectormania to purchase any at the old
prices and it will also allow us to list them at least once on Ebay. For
the record, it looks as though the £10 prints will go up to £13 each, the
£12 prints will go up to £15 and the large £25 prints will rise to £30 a
piece. Our advise, therefore is to order/reserve the prints that you want
to now to secure the old prices.
One last point to mention,
the promised upgrade to the web site has been delayed yet again, I’m
afraid. This is down to me being to busy to get the computer boffs the information
discs that they need. Hopefully, it will be done in a couple of months time
but until then please continue to search for items if you are looking for
something in particular.

Hi, and welcome to Purenostalgia. Our web site covers all aspects of
collecting childhood memories, in particular we offer a good selection of
Children's Annuals, Comics, Magazines, Paperbacks, Jigsaws and Limited
Edition Prints. We have been trading since 1985 but only set up the
web site in 2000. We pride ourselves, in that it is regularly updated to
ensure items listed are still available for purchase.

As one of the largest
specialist dealers in our field, you can select from a large range of
Annuals (we currently have over 15,000 in stock), purchase from our online
shop or by direct link to our auctions. Use the SEARCH if you are
interested in something particular or select the "collectibles for
sale" or "auctions" buttons on the left. Our system includes
a fully secure SSL security ordering facility at the point of purchase
where you can safely leave your credit card/maestro (switch) details. Alternatively,
by all means telephone the details through to us on 01375 407867 if you are

We accept many other
forms of payment. If you are in the UK
then you can pay by cheque or postal order (please make cheques payable to
Steve Penny and NOT Pure Nostalgia and send to the address on the
"contact us" web page). We can also accept Paypal and this is one
of the payment options that you are automatically given when placing the
order. In addition we can accept Direct Bank Transfers, Western Union
transfers etc. If you want to use these methods then please order the item
in the usual way but tick the "Invoice and payment before
delivery" payment option. Also, please email us to confirm your
interest at which point we will reserve the item pending completion of the
order. Overseas customers, please email if you prefer to pay by any other
methods other than credit card or Paypal and we will give you further
instructions.
